Plastic Processing Technician
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and start molds in injection molding machines.
- Oversee and maintain all aspects of the injection molding manufacturing process and related activities.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operates efficiently.
- Supervise and direct Material Handlers and Operators.
- Troubleshoot processing parameters and mechanical tooling functions.
- Deliver all first-piece inspections to the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
- Monitor production yields, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in setup and operation of injection molding machines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to molding processes and tooling.
- Ability to supervise and work collaboratively with a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Tool Maker
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the entire injection mold tool build process, from start to finish.
- Utilize advanced skills in CAD/CAM, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), CNC, grinders, and lathes.
- Ensure precision and quality in every aspect of tool manufacturing.
- Provide training and mentorship to new personnel, fostering skill development within the team.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize tooling designs and processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in injection mold tool building.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM, EDM, CNC, and other relevant machining tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to educate and train less experienced team members.
- Willingness to relocate, with assistance available for qualified candidates.
